   Magnet is weaker than expected. My phone keeps detaching when it vibrates on the nightstand. And when it does stay connected, it often misaligns so you get the slow charging symbol instead of MagSafe. Not worth the premium over a regular wireless pad.

   Switched to this from a regular wireless charger and the convenience is unreal. No more precisely lining up the coil — just snap and go. I keep one on my desk and one on the nightstand. The magnet is strong enough that I can pick up the phone and the cable comes with it. My one minor wish is that the cable was about a foot longer for the nightstand setup where the outlet is behind the bed. No regrets.

   I\’m that person who reads reviews before buying a $10 cable. This one passes the vibe check. No MFi warnings, no slow charging, no loose connector. Just a cable that works the way a cable should work. pretty wild concept, I know.

   I was skeptical about MagSafe cables being worth the premium but after using this for a month I’m converted! The snap-on convenience is genuinely useful — one hand operation while driving, no fumbling with the connector in the dark, and the cable disconnects safely if yanked. I tested the charging speed with the Ampere app and it consistently shows 15W MagSafe charging, not the 7.5W you get from Qi-only pads. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone at an angle on my car mount without sliding. Only downside is the cable is a bit stiff near the MagSafe puck but it’s loosening up over time.

    Intermittent issues from day one. Sometimes fast charges, sometimes trickle charges with the same adapter and phone. I’ve tried different outlets, different adapters, and different orientations of the connector. Results are inconsistent. When it works it works well, but “when it works” shouldn’t be a caveat.
