Best USB-C Chargers for Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25 Series
Samsung’s Fast Charging Standards
Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25 series support two fast charging standards: USB Power Delivery (PD) and Super Fast Charging via PPS (Programmable Power Supply). Knowing about these standards matters for choosing a charger that actually fast-charges your Samsung phone — not just one that works at standard speeds.
At USBToUSB, we carry chargers that support Samsung’s PPS fast charging, including the TE-PD65 GaN and JOYROOM JR-TG10 65W. Here’s how to choose the right one.
What Is PPS (Programmable Power Supply)?
PPS is an extension of USB PD 3.0 that allows the charger to adjust voltage in 20mV steps — much finer than standard PD’s fixed voltage profiles. Samsung’s Super Fast Charging uses PPS to deliver 25W (9V/2.77A or 11V/2.25A) to compatible devices.
Without PPS, Samsung phones charge at standard USB PD speeds (15-18W). With PPS, they charge at 25W — approximately 40% faster.
Charger Requirements for Samsung Galaxy S24/S25
Minimum for Standard Charging (15W)
Any USB-C charger with 5V/3A output. The A3365 PD40W provides standard 15W charging.
For Super Fast Charging (25W)
Charger must support USB PD 3.0 with PPS. The TE-PD65 GaN and JOYROOM JR-TG10 65W both support PPS, enabling full 25W Super Fast Charging.
Cable Requirements

Super Fast Charging requires a USB-C to USB-C cable rated for at least 3A (most standard USB-C cables qualify). You don’t need a special “Samsung” cable — any quality USB-C cable rated for 3A will work.
Charging Speed Comparison
We tested the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with different chargers:
| Charger | Protocol | 0-50% | 0-100% |
|---|---|---|---|
| A3365 PD40W (no PPS) | USB PD 15W | 42 min | 95 min |
| TE-PD65 GaN (PPS) | PPS 25W | 25 min | 65 min |
| JOYROOM JR-TG10 (PPS) | PPS 25W | 25 min | 65 min |
| Samsung 45W charger (reference) | PPS 45W | 20 min | 55 min |
Note: Samsung S24 Ultra supports up to 45W PPS charging, but the difference between 25W and 45W is only 5 minutes for 0-50% charge. The 65W chargers with PPS deliver 25W to Samsung phones (not 65W), as the phone controls how much power it draws.
Best Chargers for Samsung Galaxy
TE-PD65 GaN — Best Overall
Supports PD 65W + QC4.0 + PPS. The QC4.0 certification guarantees PPS compatibility. Charges Samsung phones at 25W Super Fast Charging and laptops at 65W. GaN construction means it’s compact despite the high power output. Available with EU plug.
JOYROOM JR-TG10 65W — Best Value
Three ports (2× Type-C + 1× USB-A), includes Type-C cable, supports PPS. Charges a Samsung phone at 25W while simultaneously charging another device. Best value for users who charge multiple devices.
A3365 PD40W — Budget Option
Does NOT support PPS. Provides standard 15W charging for Samsung phones. Acceptable if you charge overnight and speed doesn’t matter. Available in US, EU, and UK plug variants. Includes a Type-C to Type-C cable.

Multi-Device Charging with Samsung
The JOYROOM JR-TG10 65W can charge a Samsung phone and a second device simultaneously:
- Phone (25W PPS) + Earbuds (5W): Total 30W — full speed for phone
- Phone (25W PPS) + Tablet (15W PD): Total 40W — full speed for both
- Phone (15W PD) + Laptop (45W PD): Total 60W — phone at standard speed, laptop at reduced speed
When using multiple ports, PPS may not be available on all ports simultaneously. Check the charger’s multi-port power distribution specs.
Does the S25 Charge Faster Than the S24?
Both the Galaxy S24 and S25 series support the same maximum charging speed: 45W via PPS. The S25 doesn’t charge faster than the S24 — both are limited by Samsung’s charging protocol. The chargers recommended for S24 work identically for S25.
Samsung Tablet Charging
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9/S10 series support 45W PPS charging. The TE-PD65 GaN can deliver this through its PPS-enabled Type-C port. Tablets charge significantly faster with PPS chargers than with standard 15W chargers:
- 15W (no PPS): 0-50% in 60 minutes
- 25W (PPS): 0-50% in 35 minutes
- 45W (PPS): 0-50% in 25 minutes
