The snap-on convenience is genuinely useful — one hand operation while driving, no fumbling with the connector in the dark, and the cable disconnects safely if yanked. I tested the charging speed with the Ampere app and it consistently shows 15W MagSafe charging, not the 7.5W you get from Qi-only pads. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone at an angle on my car mount without sliding. Only downside is the cable is a bit stiff near the MagSafe puck but it’s loosening up over time.
